Misc GHB vs Diazepam: which is a better muscle relaxant

Hi,

I have in my box of goodies some pharmaceutical GHB and diazepam and I am wondering: out of the two, which is the superior muscle relaxant? I am looking specifically for something that will counteract the jaw tension I get while on 2C-E without dirtying the experience.

Thanks.

Diazepam.

As far as I know, GHB is never utilized as a muscle relaxant, though I'm sure at high doses it can be used for that indication.

Also, it's duration tends to be even shorter than diazepam's(a hard trick to pull at therapeutic doses!) and diazepam is exponentially safer, so, diazepam.

You'd probably be better off using something like clonazepam, as it is a better muscle relaxant, and has a longer duration, too boot.

If you can get tizanidine, go for that. It isn't considered a recreational drug, or controlled, or abused. Its a relative of clonidine, although with far greater myorelaxant properties and IIRC around 30-40x less potent as a hypotensive agent. Tizanidine is a REALLY powerful muscle relaxer, strong enough to put someone flat on their back, completely immobile, with a sufficient dose if one is not tolerant to alpha2 adrenoreceptor agonists.

Thanks. I'll look into that, sounds like interesting stuff.

diazepam between the two, but all you need for clenched jaw aka. bruxism is magnesium, bought otc and cheap at any pharrmacy.... it will work better than diazepam
Wow, thanks for that. Yesterday I took 200mg magnesium citrate before parachuting ~25mgs 2C-E (also threw in 2.5mg diazepam for good measure) and my jaw was fine.

furthermore with the bodyload of 2C-E the diazepam might floor u a bit
I don't really get much in the way of a 'bodyload' on 2C-E. I do feel pretty heavy and sedated on high doses (30mg+), but it doesn't feel at all unpleasant. Compared to LSD it does have a chemical feel to it but I find it much calmer and more relaxing.

That said, I have never taken 2C-E on its own and have NO interest in doing so because of the shitty side effects everyone keeps talking about. I always eat it with 50mgs cyclizine and so far so good (apart from the bruxism, although cyclizine on its own does that to me sometimes).
