Hello all. I have a quick question regarding GHB usage.

I am currently taking Pure Pharm Grade GHB Powder off and on, as well as I am on Paxil 20mg/day for Anxiety/Panic attacks. I've been doing GHB for about 4 days in a row, once or twice a day only, and this is pure pharm grade ghb powder. Anyway, the next morning I notice I have really sensitive itchy skin, and almost like a chill body wave down my back or if I put a shirt on after getting out of the shower or something my skin is a lot more sensitive than usual. I also notice that my face feels warmer and I am sensitive to temperature more so. I have been using the Pharm grade GHB powder for about 2 weeks daily but last week I took a two day break in between, and 1 day off this week.

Before I had a liquid concentrated GHB solution but there was a lot of leftover GBL in the mix and it definately wasn't pure. I was dosing on that pretty heavily about 3-4 times daily for about a month and a half and then I started to get withdrawals from that (bad panic attacks/anxiety/chills - so I quit C/T and went back on the Paxil two months later.) Just recently 2 weeks ago I started using Pharm Grade GHB powder with the paxil and its awesome, before that I hadn't used GHB since January (6 months ago).

I am wondering what this sensitive skin could be a sign of? Something to do with GABA, or dopamine? It doesn't really feel much like a dopamine rebound, and I have read reports of Pharm Grade GHB not causing withdrawals even after long term use, such as people taking Xyrem daily and such. Is this symptom something to be worried about? Should I just go easy on the G? It is NaGHB Powder that I am currently taking. I will never touch Liquid GHB or GBL again, because it gave me some nasty rebound effects.

BTW My anxiety/panic attacks didn't start from GHB usuage, I had them before I even tryed GHB. (Marijuana usage brought out my anxiety/panic attacks, and the fact that I started smoking weed when I was 14 and quit when I was 16.) I am 19 now.

Anyway, any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry I have only anecdotal experience to offer but:

I've used GHB, not GBL, for about 2 years on and off. I have not experienced the symptoms you speak of.

I also use GABA as a supplement sometimes 5g a night. Almost every time I will get flushed skin, "prikly" arms/hands/feet, warm feelings.

Perhaps somebody here will be able to make the pharmacological connection between the two.

^ I doubt, it, but it's possible.

Advice I have:

1) Tapper from GHB as soon as possible. Some people don't suffer withdrawals from long term heroin use, however most people do. GHB withdrawals are seriously bad, top 3 worst withdrawal symptomes, up with opioids and alcohol.

2) Forget about dopamine rebounds. This does not exsist.

3) Most people geuss what is causing there side-effects. I think it's very likely that the GHB is causing your skin effects. Nothing to do with GABA or dopamine I'm sure. Hence, go to 1).

I take ghb/gbl on and off,

but, ... years ago i had bought a bottle of GNC gaba capsules, and if i took 4-5+ of them, my skin would flush and i'd get wierd feelings, no 'brain' effects but wierd unpleasant effects on my body - nothing to do with ghb.
