hey kids,
if i had some GHB, say about 12 oz worth of liquid, how long can i expect it to keep, and what is the best way to store it?
thanks in advance

You can expect it to last about two months at room temperature. That goes up to about two years in the fridge. GBL has an essentially unlimited lifespan, so if you have GBL, you can store it as that and convert to GHB as needed.

interesting, thanks for the info. what happens to it after more than two months at room temp.?
peace

Remember to shake the bottle well before pouring if you've had the stuff in one place for any length of time.

A friend had 500 ml watered down GHB for 6 months on room temperature, All the salt in it seems to slow down bacterial pollution of the water....
What I noticed was that the GHB (even after 6 months of storage) at the bottom was much stronger as i think GHB is heavier than water. You really have to stir and shake the bottle when you have larger quantities other wise you might OD on a previous "just right" dose.
I would recommend the fridge however....

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what happens to old G. I was just parroting what I read on another site. I imagine it becomes denatured somehow or the water becomes polluted. I do know that GBL has an indefinite lifespan, though, from the BASF product data sheet.

GHB solutions stored at room temperature can grow mold in the bottle (concentration of 1gm/5 mL). Stronger concentrations might not mold, but why risk it? Just store in the fridge.
