GHB, GBL, or bleach - what did I take? (It was great.)

This past weekend my friends and I bought some GHB from a trusted source (who got it from Canada) who takes it often. We have tried G before, always on an E comedown, and I enjoyed it a lot, but this stuff was phenomenol when we took it after we began to come down from our E. As one of my friends said, it was "un-fucking-believable" and unlike any G that any of us had had before.
Question is, it neither looked nor tasted nor felt like the G I am used to. The G I am used to is thin/watery, clear (with some sort of chunks in it like the pulp from oranges by clear), and vinager/salty (gross.) This new stuff was by far grosser, thick in nature almost like gel or glue, light blue, and tasted like cleaner... said Aquarium Conditioner on the side... whatever it was, it was insane and all of us felt like we were having intense body orgasms for a couple hours (it wore off after about 2 hrs, 1/2 cap of it. We never take more than 1/2 cap every few hours, we try to be pretty careful with it, none of us wants to die.)
Could this have been GBL, or just a better form of GHB? Or aquarium conditioner?

you said it didn't taste salty, that probably rules out GHB.
that fact that you said it tasted really bad, like cleaner, points to GBL....but the blueish-gel throws me off a little.
i have had GBL come as a nail polish remover that had a blue dye added to it though.
BOTTOM LINE--->it definately wasn't bleach, probably not GHB, and more than likely GBL.

You say "body orgasams" - that leads me to believe it wsn't just some cleaner.. might have been some wack home-bre shit.. since most GHB is made by teenagers with NO experience in drug chemistry, you get ALL SORTS of crazy shit.. perhaps someone accidently bought the blue liquid Red Revil Drain Cleaner stuff (only part NaOH) ..
Still, it's unlikely anyone can tell you what you took - you should REALLY look into these things more, it seems a lot of people are being foolish and taking any random drug THEN trying to figure out what the hell they took...

It is 1,4 butanediol. Apparently still unscheduled in Canada, hence where people source it from.
It is a green/blue, quite viscous (gel like), and dose range is around 2 to 3ml depending on body weight.
However, I cannot explain why you would rate it better than pure GHB (if you have ever had powder that is), but different people prefer gbl/1,4 b over GHB, and vice versa.

I have never had the powder GHB, just liquid.
WOW is all I can say. My friend only does GHB, not even alcohol or weed... this is his normal stuff from Canada. I guess from what you are saying it is GBL. We did not feel sick or have any after-effects either. I liked it. Blame Canada!

In the U.S., GBL is illegal, but 1,4-butanediol's still legal. It's not in dietary supplements, but there are plenty of chemical companies that'll sell it to you.

GBL is not available IN canada but there are vendors who will sell it to US residents. What you ate was likely either GBL or 1,4-BDO, there really isn't a way to tell the difference at this point. You probably just had a higher dosage than you're used to because the highs of GHB, GBL, and 1,4-BDO really aren't that differen't.

Rollergirl, gbl ISN'T a thick liquid. It's a colourless water look-a-like. Yes, it looks VERY much like water, only the smell is a little different
So, I doubt that what you've taken was gbl.
Perhaps the "brewer" added too much gbl when letting it react with the Na/K -OH.

GHB is a badass(very fun) drug when used properly...it has very minor side effects, and just gives one a very energetic, happy high...good stuff...

Recently a local hookup has been coming across what he tells me is GHB. Ive always known g to have an "old man's ball sweat" like taste =8 not that I know what an old mans ball sweat taste like...well except for this one time....
anyways, he describes his g as tasteing like alcahol. anyone know what this could be? BDO?
and Rollergirl, sounds like gbl with blue dye in it. i've seen some pretty thick g before

Thanks for all the info guys!!! Just an added note, my boyfriend and I tried some WITHOUT E, 1/2 cap each (no alcohol in us of course), and it made me puke and made him groggy, so I guess it's not fun for me when I am not rolling!

no ROLLERGIRL, u just took too much...try a quarter capful next time..i have muy hands on some G right now that my buddies are claiming a half capful will fuck me up..i cant wait to try it this weekend...it doesnt smell like GHB, but who cares...
ROLLERGIRL-never stop taking GHB, its a great drug, best party drug...then again u roll and i dont, so that could factor into it..
thats the big X factor with GHB, ya NEVER really know what you are getting...it could literally be anything mixed in there and you wouldnt know it until u come out of a coma or your friends are throwing dirt on your casket...

feck, just buy it off the internet, 99% of the time, what you get is 100% pure, and that goes for GBL, NaGHB and 1,4 BD.
anyway I think it must have been 1,4 BD due to the "gel like" characteristic. 1,4 BD in its pure form is a gelly bastard, almost like those super-strong hair gels.
the blue dye must have been added on purpose, I hope...for your health.
and the measurements, bychrist...what the hell is "a cap"? huh? there are 12 million different caps in the world. I know that "a cap" of my G's original bottle would send me straight to coma.
buy a syringe and measure in ml, start with .75 (or even less if you're small/a girl) and work your way up PATIENTLY.
and it's normal that you reacted differently when coming down off E, since you were stimulated, your body could take more of the "down" effect of G and go straight for the euphoria. Taking the same amount when in a normal situation will probably send u to sleep with a hint of nausea.
Be safe and use G responsibly, it's really a great drug if you know how to use it.
