Are there any studies that have identified any link between human growth hormone and accelerated carcinoma growth in humans? I ask as GHB/GBL/1,4-BDO cause a huge increase in the production of HGH, and could therefore increase the development rate of a carcinoma present in the body, if there is a link.

It's one of those things I'd like to at least be aware of the possibility of it happening, if I use GHB or various metabolic precursors, just in case

I don't -think- there is any evidence that GHB actually causes an increase in muscle mass, so I wouldn't be concerned about its effects of cancers.

It was just whether HGH would accelerate carcinoma growth - my mother has had two malignant myosarcomas removed during my life, and I'd rather be safe than sorry.

On a different note (possibly better suited to SL&R), I have detected a small but definite increase in the circumference of my erection after a few months of GBL use (I know just under 2/10ths of an inch isn't huge, but it has definitely occurred). Might also be due to exercising the beast a lot more since discovering GBL!:)

Plenty of GHB/GH threads in SD. Basically it was decided that the catabolic effects of GHB would outweigh any possible benifits from GH increase. In terms of speeding up cancerous growths- im out of my depth :)

Oh but we're getting A LOT of anecdotal reports of increased penis size after using HGH. I dont think there is currently a paper on this though.

Hang on and I'll look out the thread with least shouting in it ;)

^ Cheers, my knowledge of the pharmacology of the endocrine system is patchy and a little out of date

I was starting to wonder if the increase I'd seen was due to it becoming bruised and swollen from overuse =D . If it does have that property though, wouldn't you think some firms would have been marketing GHB/GBL/1,4-BDO for penis enlargement before they were scheduled?

Not until theres at least one paper on the subject I wouldn't imagine.

I mean there are companies producing HGH and HGH equivelents (I think the most popular version has 192-amino folds as compared to the 193 in biological HGH) but these are only marketed for clinical use (although the reason they're popular is due to the increase in muscle mass/quality as a result of increased HGH levels- obviouslly going through the usual grey/black markets). This may well be due to cost limitations, though, as a 6 month course of HGH is going to cost you thousands of dollars.

If you want to set up a study to measure penis enlargment using HGH then I think youd get a few volunteers in SD ;)

Oh one other thing- not to be disgusting or anything- are you circumcised? Im sure there is a condition as a result of overuse of the organ, basically your foreskin develops small cuts - which form scar tissue. This process can continue to the stage where the foreskin becomes unflexible due to the ammount of scarring. I guess this *could* be percieved as an increase of size- but wouldnt be on my list of things to try ;)

Anyways WAAAAY off subject...

No, not circumsized - it's not as popular in the UK for non-religious reasons as compared with the US (and no intentions of getting it done now!).

And there was me thinking that anything short of surgery was just hype when it came to all the talk about enlargement...

Yeah.. .I thought you were UK too. If you want some insight then maybe PM Giza as he seems to know more about the GH-increase phnomenom than me =D

(personally though I would steer clear of using GHB for the purpose and focus on relativly pure HGH).

I am really interested in the effects of HGH and other biological Amino-Acids, proteins and enzymes on cancerous growths as this may help with links to increases in muscle tissue.

What I ment from my comment above, that if GHB doesn't increase muscle mass, it probably isn't anabolic in total.
