Hello fellow BLer's, I have a bit of a dilemma on my hands. I've been using gear for a little over a year. Not every day, just a few times a week. Recently I went 2 weeks w.o using and switched some meds: from sertraline to buproprion, and supplemented my doxepin with 200mg seroquel. Yesterday I decided to wind down from a stressful day, and I put a good point of some higher quality H on foil and smoked it (i smoke it now, I used to poke my arms but I can't do that anymore) and a good thirty minutes later I got sick and vomited profusely.

I thought it was the gear at first, so today I went to a different connect and did the same thing, and I'm nauseous again, wtf? I am not even nodding, that's what's maddening :/ I made sure to eat beforehand, so I don't think that's it. Could one of my new meds be conflicting with the boy? Thanks for reading,
Aq.

Are you sure that you don't always get nauseous but don't notice it because you're nodding away? In either case, nausea is a common symptom of bupropion, and dopaminergics in general.

As for the lack of a nod, quetiapine (seroquel) is an anti-dopaminergic, and will almost certainly taint some of the euphoriant effects of the opioid. Something else to keep in mind is the noradrenergic properties of bupropion might be denying you of nodding. It is known to be stimulating.

Overall, it seems pretty clear that your new medication is the culprit.
