Exactly, your wording profoundly explains my point.I've never heard anyone say the withdrawal only lasts three days. I think the 3 day thing comes from the fact that around day 3 is usually when you feel at your worst. Definitely was like that for me. If I could get past the three day mark I'd know the worst was over and I'd be slowly on the up from there on in.
You must have a hell of a good constitution then mate
I am not making a case that withdrawals are absent after 3 days. My point is during this detox/withdrawal the only help someone can absorb & nourish is their own words and actions.
Example...
-- Self : "These withdrawals are horrible. Will it ever stop?"
-- The Other Self yells buried under the rubble of sins, unpaid debts, lies, ego, denial, justify & rationalized til the sun rises : "Alert, Alert, mate, are you there? This ship is sinking"
-- Self : " I thought I killed you already. Fuck off.."
-- Other Self : "Spend the last of the reserves and we will deal with this again tomorrow."
My point is clear, yes withdrawals are not pleasant. And in fact if someone rallies for them self during the pain, the struggle, the regret... After rallying for them self, they found out having a backbone and standing up for themselves is something that should have taken place sooner.
There is nothing special about me regarding detox, withdrawal, or rapid tapering. It is like putting a piece of clay pottery into a forge repeating the process. The piece of pottery is now hardened, forged, and can withstand it's surrounding atmosphere.
