Getting over illness

well what I've been dreading this whole year happened. I'm sick with the flu and cannot lift due to dizziness, excessive coughing, and lack of motivation due to extreme fatigue and overall feeling like fucking shit. I've been managing to eat about maintenance calories and staying hydrated while bringing in most my macros (sadly I can't force feed myself anymore then I already did). next week when I get into the gym, how should I get back into training? I wanna make up time lost and fix the damage that's been done but don't wanna overdo it. any advice is appreciated. thanks all
 
Wait, so you're only out of commission for a week? Don't even worry about it. Resume training as normal. The gains will be made up with time, if you even lost anything at all.

ok, just wanted to ensure I get back to training as efficiently as possible. it sucks being bed ridden... thanks voxide.
 
Do 10% less weight an sets on your first time after being sick. Than slowly increase. You'll pass some old prs really fast.
 
well update:
dizzy spells continued for an extra week and just now got back into my routine (bout Fuckin time...). bodyweight: 155, lifts are only down by 5-10lbs (might be due to getting the mind-muscle connection reestablished). overall I feel fucking great. fantastic pumps (Arnold says pumps are like cumming, I can understand that). can't wait to shower and hit up a meeting :D new girl is digging my bod already (I was still sick as well so she'll be in for something nice here in a few weeks. hmmm bday present to her I guess ;) ).

How much weight did you drop?
 
about 7 pounds bodyweight. probably most of it being water. overall I thought it was gonna be worse than what it turned out to be.
 
I was just sick for a few days. Fever, fatigue, and congestion in my nose.

I loaded up on Vitamin C, some decongestants, a bunch of Cold Eeze throat drops, and I feel better.

I was pissed for a good two days because I thought I was getting horribly sick and was just starting a new diet and routine. I had just started taking 100mg of Epistane ED as well along with 600mg of Equipoise EW, 400mg of Testosterone EW, and 75mg of Trenbolone ED.
 
How much TUDCA/UDCA do you take with that kind of dose? I felt sick when I bumped from 30 to 45, even if the gains were noticeably better.

I'm just taking 500mg of Milk Thistle Powder a day. I can get away using high doses of orals ever since a series of hepatitis vaccinations I received over the course of a year to strengthen my liver. Additionally I do not use APAP, I do not drink alcohol, and I always drink a gallon of water a day.

Some people can deal with orals better than others, genetics plays a role as does the way the body responds to certain compounds.
 
Sorry if this is too personal (and free feel to delete the post since you're a mod and all), but I remember from some other board, that you talked about some liver problems you had due to some unwise life decisions.... So I take it you're better now?
