Getting lost on acid?

I've been doing acid for a bout a year i used to abuse the drug way too much. Even though I've never fully flipped out from acid. recently when i have taken the drug i find that i get very lost in my own thoughts so much so to the point where i can barely hold a conversation with someone ill just sit there and think to myself the whole time. I was just wondering if anyone else gets this and if anyone could help explain why this happens too me.

dunno exactly why it happens but it just does...don't worry about it...it happens to me too...that's why i just go find a nice dark comfy corner next to the speaker and sit there enjoying my CEVs...

Your upset because a drug is doing what its supposed to be doing? Dont take the word psychedellic too lightly. It doesnt mean your just gonna see pretty patterns and colors, you probably will... but theyres also a deep mental side of the drug, far deeper than the visuals will take you.
I was in kinda the same situation as you, I abused acid for a few weeks. By the last few weeks it wasnt haveing the same mental effects it once used to. I kinda forgot that theyre was this whole other side to the drug. Then when I stopped tripping for a few months and then took a few doses on a chill summer night. Wow is all I can say. It blew my mind in many different ways. I learned to love everything about acid. I must be rambling now. Hope any of this helps.
