Any idea on potential interactions between MT2 and stimulants/opiates etc? I started a thread on this, but it seems no one had any info on it.
If we don't know either way, I'd be careful suggesting it to anyone that will be taking drugs whilst on MT2.
There are no interaction. I have used Melanotan II despite being on Methadone maintenance for the last 3 years. I have also used it alongside Etizolam and MPA (A Benzo and stimulant).
Melanotan II is unique compound though. Despite giving you a sunless tan over time it carries some strange side effects.
It can cause you lips, nipples, and part of your genitials to turn a blueish color while the rest darkens. It will also cause any freckles, beauty marks, or moles on you body to become darker and larger and it will also cause new beauty marks, freckles or moles to develop in random places. It causes nausea that can only be remedied by laying down, reduce your appetite, and cause constant random bouts of yawning and stretching. For some, you might develop a tan, but your skin will take on a strange gray tone. Hair also becomes darker along with your eye color. Skin on you elbows, knees, knuckles, and toes could become darker than the rest of your skin as well.
A more annoying side effect for both males and females is the effect it has on libido. It causes random arousal that can last for some time. Females will find they become wet and sensitive and males will find experience erections that can last for quite some time and become painful.
I have used it for the last year at 0.25mg for everyday for upwards to a month, then I take a month off and do it again. 0.25mg works for me but for someone else it might cause the side effects I described.
The trick to avoiding the all side effects except the sexual ones (even at low doses it cause arousal and increases your libido) is to start at a low dose and slowly work your way up to a higher dose over a period of time. Using Melanotan II in conjunction with tanning in the sun for a few minutes a day will give you a really healthy tan.
Once you discontinue use, your tan will fade like a natural one but it can be maintained with a once a week injection at that point or you can just wait a month before running another cycle. The discoloration side effects, darkening of hair and eye color, and darkening of beauty marks, freckles, and moles, is reversible;e by discontinuing use as well.
