Hey All, hoping some of our Aussie friends can help me.

I take 50mg of Quetiapine per night for sleep, and 10mg Rizatriptan PRN for migraines. I'm going to Thailand for 6 weeks and then having a working holiday visa for 1 year in Australia. My doctor has given me 6 months worth of medication to take with me, and has then written me a prescription for another 6 months supply when I eventually need it in Australia.

So could anybody tell me what I do when my supply runs out and I need to use my prescription to top up my medication? I'm assuming that my UK prescription can't be filled in Australia so I''ll have to go to a doctors to have a consultation with them, for them to give me an Aus prescription and I'll then have to pay for it.

Does anybody know the proper process behind this, and how much I should expect to pay? My prescription is for 180x25mg Quetiapine tablets costing .03p each back in the UK, so a total of £5.40 GPB so ~£11AUD.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
