A lot of these "Neo-Psychedelic" bands are around, but only a few I would consider to be Psychedelic. Such as "Tame Impala". So, if you can find a "Neo-Psychedelic" band that's actually Psychedelic post it. I'd love to hear it.

there was this group of people called "the elephant 6 collective" that had a bunch of different bands out of georgia and a couple other spots in the USA... i dunno, they claimed to be influenced by the psychedelic work of the beach boys a lot and the band that got popular in brazil Os mutantes, which was like brazil's response to the beatles and beach boys during their psychedelic era from what i understand.

this is a pretty upbeat track with some what 60's era psychedelic influenced horns... this is a pretty good album... it gets pretty freaky at times. i used to trip out and smoke weed to the album in high school. i don't know if everybody would recognize how dark it gets.. this is a feel good track:

"prehistoric" and "a lovely universe" are pretty crazy tracks with a bizarre feel..... ..... i don't know if this band is that amazing or anything. i enjoyed them deeply for some time, but idk. there's other stuff that i found myself being more emotionally attached to over the years... i think of them at the OP's title cause this is what comes up when you google search "elephant 6 genre":

"The Elephant 6 genre isn't a single style but a collective of indie rock bands known for their lo-fi psychedelic pop, blending '60s influences (Beach Boys, Beatles) with experimental, DIY, and often whimsical sounds, featuring elements of indie pop, synth-pop, and garage rock. Key acts like Neutral Milk Hotel, The Apples in Stereo, and of Montreal embody this sound, characterized by catchy melodies, tape manipulation, and retro production."

people may have fun checking out their label. i tend to go deeper into the emo stuff, which isn't really on this label. it's still good though.

Can you find a Psychedelic song from them that focuses more on Rhythm rather than Singing ? Maby I might get a better feeling from some of their other Music.

The Criteria of what kind of Psychedelic Music I'm looking for has to have a strong flow to it, that's heavy on Rhythm. It also has to sound very dream like almost as though your in a dream like state of mind.

Here's the kind of Sound I'm looking for in a "Neo-Psychedelic" song based on original Psychedelic Music. For example the Beatle's later style of Music.

If you could find any "Neo-Psychedelic" Music that sounds like this that would be great.

OP has put up white zombie and boys and against girls, don't see how he wouldn't like that... not something i even think is that great... dunno. what OP is looking for.. hope he finds it. ... Know OP has all sorts of 60's stuff on his play list.

tame impala has some sick ass songs and some ones i totally can't stand... overall cool stuff though.

a band that is kind of like the radio rock that spawned from psychedelic that sounds like they are from the 60's when radio rock was kind psychedelic that came out in the 90's was belle and sebastian. ...probbaly can trick most people that was 60's music.

if i didn't check out OP's previous play list, i wouldn't've recommended that from tame impala...... tame impala is it's own thing....

I don't care too much for Pond, but Melody's Echo Chamber, Kikagaku Moyo and Lenon Claypool Delirium have that sound I really like.

Music Playslist for The Psychedelic Soul Movements -

"Weight of the World, Pray for Me"- all the deepest cuts for the music heads!!!

had it not been for Auntie Soul with heaters, the bread and butter....
dont let me down!

Truely Psychedelic Where Mind and Soul connect is what Psychedelic music is and will be forever! Yes For Ever! its not exclsuive by any means, when music is made to reach out from a past, and holds its own. Inspires one to go beyond their comfort zone, and that can be uncomfortable just sit with the music. It dont have to be that deep!

Thats psychedelic to me, when the effect reinregrates as it moves one and brings all the warm experiences back into ones awareness, thats just another reason to crossover, an existence where one cannot let go of the inspiration and takes one places, aint even got to go know where and when all the feelings come back! Yes thats psychedelic! Anybody can have a visionary experience day to day,

wont be for everybody, not everybody gonna get it.

It may take a while, to see where it goes and all that. All right now!

I'm familiar with Soul Music and it's nothing new. I don't know why you would bring up Patches by Clarence Carter. It's not Psychedelic and it's an old song. It's like if I were to bring up Pusherman by Curtis Mayfield.

Love Mayfield! A wah pedal with an electric guitar on a great arrangement, still holds its own. I have days where I listened to Mayfields playing on "Darker Than Blue" and it was the only piece id listen to for two days or more. one best gifts we as American have contributed too is spreading that dedication, giving attention and putting others onto it.

Media that captures this "Superfly" is whats gave rise to the bullshit that is media coverage on substances.

Its triggering.

Others
leave their graces, and consume mindlessly.just how it is. Cant Forsake yourself for them, they know exactly what they are doing. Pick up and keep going.
