Misc Generic Lyrica (pregabalin) out yet?

Just wondering if anyone knows when
a generic version of Lyrica will be available or if *it* is coming in the near future.

Not yet. I don't know when it will be but I think it's seven years after a new drug comes out in most cases. So if you can find when lyrica was released (google or erowid if no one answers here) do the math.

Here in my country there are already some generic presentations of Pregabalin, but they all sucks even if they are a little cheaper; it's really scary how you can tell for real the difference between Lyrica (hits harder) and generic Pregabalin.

From what I've read its Patented under the brand name Lyrica until 2013. So don't expect a generic anytime soon.
