Opioids Generic Dilaudid verses Brand Name

I am in desprate immediate need of knowing what is the ingredient used in the Generic Dilaudid which keeps you from being able to break it down with just water and heat like the Brand name dilaudid.

I have reactions to whatever it is and can save myself a bundle of money if I can find this out per my RX provider. Any help will be aprreciated.

I thought it might be lactose anhydrous, or magnesium stearate. But really dont know. I have tried calling different manufactures, searching the internet, talking to pharmacists, and doctors to no avail.

OP - i just edited out your email address, it's not a great idea advertising your email address to a world of people you don't know.

you'll probably need to specify which brand generic dilauded you're using as well. different pharma companies use differentiating binders and fillers for the make up of different pills.

i'm sure you can find the ingredients to whatever pill it is with google. at least it's never failed me in the past from memory.

What generic are you getting?
I've never had a problem with any brand of Dilaudid I've bought.. easy pills to break down ever.
Maybe you're talking about Hydromorph Contin?

And heat is definitely not necessary.. crush, add water, filter, shoot.

I've never noticed a difference between any of the brands either. Dilaudid is a very, very good pill for abusing, because it contains nothing other than hydromorphone, sugar, and inert filler. Most pills contain a bundle of different chemicals and such.

If whatever pill you have is gelling-up, it might be due to the manufacturer using cellulose (instead of mag stearate) as the bulk filler. That's just a guess though. And lactose is just sugar, so that's water soluble and shouldn't pose a problem.

I think part of what makes Dilaudid so physically hard is that it's basically all filler, and it's compressed extremely hard. After all, 4mg or 8mg is an almost invisible amount of active. It's basically just a ball of mag stearate compressed together. Contrast that with, say, an OC 80, which is about 30% active. And the opiate alkaloids, even in salt form, are always (from my experience) soft, almost waxy in pure form.

He must be from canada. Up here we have Brand named dilaudid tablets which I always spend the e><tra and get, and we have PMS Hydromorphone Hcl.

The brand name Dilaudid tabs disappear with little trace in small amounts of water, the PMS ones dont dissolve in water. But they still e><tract like a dream. They leave powder in the spoon, dilaudid brand ones dont, this is what he is talking about.

i use to get the jurista hyromorphone pills which are basically unabuseable they are a real bitch yellow rock hard coating when you split pill in half one half is grey the filer the other white which is waxy they are absoulte shite

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but it's my first time shooting and I'm confused, would I be able to shoot the pms brand with a wheelfilter? I have pms brand 8mg and 1mg IR tablets.

you should be able to, at least until it gets clogged.

i didn't look up any info on the pills, but i took an educated guess which would apply to most pills besides those that gel.

EDIT: i did some quick googling and couldn't find any info on ingredients, so sorry im no help there.
Maybe you'll have better luck? i only checked the first page of results.
