this is just an extension of a previous post i read, but is it true that on a mg/mg scale generic versions of benzo pressings are weaker than the straight up shit?

No, that really does sound like crap. The only differance may be in the binders used, i.e it may take londer for the pill/cap to break down in your belly. If you have 20mg of some chemical, it is 20mg, and it is exactly the same as any other 20mg dose.

A witty signature proves nothing!!

Generic drugs, are like generic anything, they are made to be sold at a certain price point, and sometimes the quality is not quite as good as the 'name' brand.
A case in point, I used to take Rohypnol (a trade name of Roche for flurniterazepam sp.) they were very smooth acting in comparison to Hypnodorm, and both were 20 mg in strength.
The result was the same, but the action of them was slightly cruder.

The only difference is the inactive ingredients. The active ingredient is the same. There is a big difference tween generic meds and generic potato chips.
Btw, Rohypnol comes in 1mg and 2mg.

Actually, generics are sometimes less potent than brand names. Generic Ritalin for example; many people and a lot of doctors say that people taking it for ADD can tell a difference in its effectiveness (I can). This is mainly because brand name drugs have to be manufactured to the highest FDA standards for purity and control while generics have less stringent controls. That is part of the price difference as well. Also, a lot of doctors recommend that their patients with high blood pressure and thryoid disease and whatnot (conditions that require very accurate drug amounts) get the brand name meds instead of the generics. Anyways, it isn't usually a problem, but brand name meds do have higher street values.
