Gender Option

Although this is nothing concerning the changes, I'd like to ask if it's possible to have a gender sign so we know whether someone is a male or female? I've got confused with lots of members n I've heard others have to.
I'm sorry for asking this here I'm not sure where to make these requests. Evey xxxx

Thanks - i've done so with lots n I see no gender sign. I just don't want to offend people that's all - i've thought at least males were females in the last month. And I understand that men find that annoying.

EDIT : you're right. I've checked a profile that had gender on it - and it's as you say some choose not to put it down. Thanks for that.
