I tracked down a bottle of this stuff from a local pharmacy and took a capful just to gauge the effects. I felt quite a noticeable sense of sedation but no euphoria or other effects. Now I know that a capful is not much but after 3 years of daily abuse, I can still get nicely intoxicated from 60mg codeine and can even feel less than 30mg. What kind of dosage should I be looking at for a decent bit of euphoria from the Gees? Also, does anyone know how much codeine/morphine is actually contained in a 200ml bottle? The label only refers to opium tincture.

Hey, a 200ml bottle of gees linctus will contain 3.32 ml of opium tincture.
(0.083 ml per 5ml dose * 40 = 3.32)

With your low tolerance I would suggest just half a bottle if you want to notice any euphoria.
But note as the active ingredient is opium it will have a much longer onset then codeine, and will also last way longer.

I have a similar tolerance as you and I take 3/4 of a bottle for a chilled out day and morning after.

Thread is a year old.

Don't think OP is coming back for your answer and I think the linctus is well and trully chug-a-lug-lugged.

The reason I posted a reply is because the thread was unanswered and I know that many people will find there way here by searching for gees linctus on google or the bluelight search bar.

This thread had hundreds of views and no replies which shows that it is a considerably popular search.

Now people arriving here will have an answer to their questions.

Why don't people understand that answered threads are useful for many, many more people then just the OP?
