GBL Addiction/withdrawal and what next..?

This story is ultimately looking for comments and acceptance.. Reading the forums there is a phenomenal amount of information that almost seems overwhelming:

This takes place in a large, populated city where it's easy to become isolated an lonely and it'll be left up to the ready to believe it is true or a work of fiction but that's why all exact name, dates, times and places have been avoided.. It takes places over a 6month period.

DRUG:GBL AVERAGE DAILY USE:20ml LENGTH:6 24/7months one year recreational

Reason for taking taking GBL began, well it started as a sexual kick: severe depression due to HIV diagnosis, lack of job, no money, debt, barely surviving on benefits, alienation of friends for fear of disclosing HIV status, making of new friends who began the introduction into world of drugs and casual sex, selling and prostitution to make ends meet but nothing considered grotesquely immoral.

Those people vanished, a conscious choice to come extent and as a result become increasingly reclusive over last 3 months. Addiction began August 2012 and slowly escalated into psychological and physical dependence.

Drug positive effects: confidence, ability to talk with ease to people come across as friendly, trustworthy, warm and fun. Weight gain, increased appetite and easy maintenance.

Withdrawal symptoms: Tingling sensation in extremities, headache, hypersensitive to sound, auditory hallucinations, tinnitus, anxiety, increased heart rate, shakes, insomnia, depression.

Tolerance: 2.5ml in past would have caused me to vomit and pass out for 2 hours, now remain lucid and able to function. High dose of up to 3.5ml over an hour needed to sleep. Fear overdose

Dosing practically every hour towards then end and had already set a Doctor's appointment to ask for a help while keeping a detailed diary of times/dosing/sleep/total daily amounts hoping it was would help allow for taper and keeptrack of time and sanity; as it has managed in the passed...

This time though the only think I noticed was usage was maintaining, there was no tapering at 20ml and escalating.

It all ended after 4 days of cold turkey. That's when the heavy drinking began and the near psychotic break. An ambulance. Doctor's gave a couple of days worth of Choldiazepoxide 10mg which helps.

There are only two pills left, also two zopiclone and a week to wait for next Doctor appointment.

Can the detox be over now or will the anxiety and shakes resume? the psychological issues will have to be addressed another time I'm asking for a bit or reassurance that physically this addiction is through the worst or does anyone have an experience of a second rebound?

Can anyone share a similar tale to pass the time? If anything written helps someone else too that would be awesome

IF you would of stuck with pure NaGHB powder, you wouldn't have this problem. Or at least not near as bad of withdrawals, even when dosing 24/7 for weeks.

Not true, and poor advice to give to people. Whether it's NaGHB, GHB, GBL, or 1,4-Butanediol they all carry a similar and serious risk of dependence and withdrawal, especially when dosing 24/7.
