Ok so I consider myself straight. I've tested the waters a little, I even
brought a good looking guy in like a punk but feminine outfit to my place.
I couldn't even bring myself to kiss him and felt bad when he left the next morning.

But last night I had a very brief dream where a guy was getting into bed with me and I was really up for it. I even woke up with my boxers off which I'd evidently done in my sleep haha.

I'm completely comfortable with my sexually but men just don't do it for me. Ive had a couple of chances and always aborted.

Anyone else done this or something similar? Hell id go with a guy but I really don't look at them that way...

One of my best friends loves transexuals & even prefers them to real women some times. I don't know why.
But he doesn't get turned on by regular guys. I don't consider him gay though, cause if he was, then he'd get turned on by manly men.

That is not how it works. Someone can be homosexual/gay or bisexual, and they are attracted to men who are queens, feminine guys, drag queens, twinks, etc.

I am friends with gay and bisexual men who are into queens, drag queens, CD/TV types, twinks, and femme/androgynous men. Granted they are femme/androgynous, hyper-effeminate, or part time drag queens so I guess they usually get rejected by masculine gay and bisexual men? Or femme guys, twinks, queens, drag queens are their type? A good friend who is gay/homosexual and more masculine likes both femme men or queens, and masculine men. Different gay friends are the same and are fine with femme guys, cross dressers, etc.

OP, Were you aroused by the sex dream, or by the man in it, or by the other man who you wrote about having sex with, as well as women? If so then you are bisexual.

Honestly, wtf would be the point of some one being attracted to men, but only men who look like women? Kinda defeats the point honestly, unless you're exclusively extracted to transgendered people (which sounds more like a fetish), because being attracted to men who have to look like women doesn't sound like "being attracted to the same sex" to me. At most they might be bisexual, but if you're a man and don't find men who look like men attractive, then that doesn't sound very gay to me. After all, the point of "HOMOsexuality" is because you're attracted to the same sex, not the same sex who have to look like the opposite sex.

I guess they are into twinks, femme guys, or drag queens and that is their type? My gay friends who like twinks, queens, femme guys, drag queens, etc. said how they find the confidence these men have to be a turn on.

Not much to add but the need for human to catagorize/lable/name is a glaringly inadequate means of experiencing "life".
Guessing that if I were to be labled it would be bi but a man would have to be a sexy mf (someone like me lol jk) or I am on some good shit for a homo-relationship to move ahead.
Is there a percentage of gayness? Like 20/80 homo/hetero? haha maybe this will become a standard in measuring gayness....

But if we were to go around just labelling any man who likes trannies/feminine only as "gay", I think it would really detract from the experience & issues that actual gay people (who don't date women AT ALL) go through. Gay literally means "attracted to the same sex"... So if you date/fuck women & only like men who look like women, are you really "attracted to the same sex"? Especially if it's the 'woman' part that you're into. I've found that most men who like trannies, rarely stick with them & some I've known end up unhappy cause they're not "biological women".

I find it kind of absurd really lol (I don't mean that in a disrespectful way). I guess I just can't see what it is that some one sees in a man who has to look like a woman? I mean, wouldn't it just be easier to say... idk.... get with a woman? lol

I think human sexuality is so complex and can deviate into many areas that people don't often talk about.

What you're experiencing isn't uncommon at all though, just so you know. ;)


Hopefully I didn't sound too condescending on my comments. It's just very confusing & goes to show that even some one like me, who is full gay, still struggle to comprehend other people's sexualities or how the human mind is capable of so many dynamics. I've always assumed people are either full straight, full gay or full bi. But I think there's more nuance than just that. Of course this doesn't mean there aren't people that don't fall into those 3 categories, like myself.
 
Sometimes I would like to be a girl and get fucked, but i am not.

But my sexual attraction is purely aimed at females. No succes of yet but who knows what the future will bring.

So I am not gay an not a gender bender, but as far as I am concerned its nothing more then human. Its society that creates the confusion.

In ancient times hermaphrodites and such like males dressing up like females where regarded highly.
 
Language is great, but it also compartmentalizes the infinite. Categorizing all humans as straight, gay or bi is like categorizing all colors as red yellow or blue. There are as many sexualities as there are humans. The only way to realize your sexuality is by going full froot: follow your nose, as toucan Sam says (ironic he has a beak…). Accept yourself for the colors you are, don’t hurt others, and you’ll be happy.

I am a man, I like watching transsexual porn, seeing male pleasure in porn, I like getting fucked in the ass, I like dressing up as a woman… things that many would consider “gay”… but I have only ever been with women, as the times I have kissed men it did nothing for me.

I'm usually not one for labels, but as a gay person who went through shit for being gay growing up, I find it irks me a little when some one who isn't even interested in the same sex goes around thinking and calling themselves gay, just cause they've had some bicurious thoughts or only like men who look like women (not referring to OP). I just find it a bit disingenuous.

Try going back to middle/high school and telling people you're "gay". You'll be back to calling yourself 'straight' in no time.

There doesn't even need to be any other labels, people can just say "Well I only like women, including transexuals who are feminine". Or say "I'm bisexual".

But to say you're gay or know the plight of being gay when you aren't even attracted to the same sex, is just weird.

Disagree. It's a matter of type. Whether you prefer bearded lumberjack types or pretty boys , so long as you're exclusively attracted to male bodies and male genitals then you are gay.

But most of these types of people aren't attracted to male genitals or male bodies. If they were, then person wouldn't have to look like a girl in order to turn them on. If they're exclusively attracted to only men that look like females, well then...are they really attracted to men at all?

Plus, if they date & fuck women but have curiosities about transexuals from time to time, that would make them bisexual rather than gay. Actually I'd argue that they're still straight in a way, because like you said, if they were gay they'd be exclusively attracted to male bodies & genitals, but they're only attracted to the female aspect of the transexual & not exclusively to them being male or having a penis. Of course there are exceptions but my point is that some one ONLY attracted to women & men who look like women, technically aren't exclusively attracted to males or dick or male ass at all.

So some one who will only find a man that looks like a woman attractive, doesn't sound like some one who's actually attracted to men at all.... People may have preferences but I still don't consider some one who is only attracted to female/female looks "gay".

This is just my opinion, but yeah idk.

Gay man to me = you like looking at hot bulges in some wrangler jeans and enjoy hot male butts & aren't bothered by hairy bodies, etc... or nice clean cut looking guys too. Whatever, as long as it's a male that resembles a male. If you can only like males that HAVE to look like females, then why not just stick with females? lol

I thought NL/Benelux was all about tolerance of sex freedom between adults, LGB/LGBT rights, etc.? Or are some villages and small cities that are not close to large cities less tolerant? I have been to NL, and Belgium but I was with family, went to Amsterdam and Haarlem, and further south to Tongeren. But I was not there for sex or drugs.

I know the dutch loathe drug and sex tourists, but they like the € they bring in. In my country and region soft drugs are decriminalised and legally tolerated, or fully legal just over and near the border, and hard drugs and prostitution are basically tolerated in certain designated areas of cities here that have been open air drug markets and red light districts for poor desperate street prostitutes who did not catch the wave of going on the internet, for many many decades or since the early 1960s. But we were once part of Sweden, and then the Netherlands, and it has always been very German and Dutch/Belgian here. I do not like the sex and drug tourists here but there is open sex freedom here, LGB people have been socially accepted here since before the Stonewall demonstrations that despite revisionist history, were not a big deal or event at the time, and were not started by transgenders/transsexuals nobody trans was there, most regular LGB people who were at or near the demonstrations did not get involved as the few drag queens were there were best avoided, large groups of 'people of colour', and it was all bisexual, and gay men and women who were European and in or around a tiny city block. Most 'people of colour' who are LGB were super deep in the closet, not out, and hetero POC were super homophobic/biphobic and many still are and really dislike other POC who are LGB/LGBT.
