I have read a bunch of the forum threads about ganja butter but they are all about how to make it. I had someone give me a jar of it that is half solidified and half liquid. I am going to make some brownies for someone who has cancer of the lung and just did chemo. They cant smoke and need the medicine.

My goal: to make brownies as strong as the top shelf dispensaries do, where one regular size brownie is like 6 doses. I have read that you just substitute the ganja butter for regular butter in the recipe. I'm going to do that but-

I have a brownie mix that calls for a cup of water as well as butter. My question is this- should I use the liquid as water? Its maybe a 1/2 cup of liquid so I would go 50/50 water with the ganja liquid. I read online that some people toss the liquid as they are going for the butter in semi-solid form. Anyone have experience in baking and can recommend what to do?

I dunno what your product is.

Best bet is to run a test batch, so that you can judge the effect and recommend proper dosing.

At dispensarys around my area, they use hash. .3-.5 in each treat. Very high quality.

Make the butter/oil seprate and add it to the mix. Add the water just like you would with regular brownies.
