cannot post urls anonymously, but the erowid experience ID is ?23555

This looks interesting..... has any one had it and agree with the report?
Im not good with chemistry but would it go under analogue laws?

Maybe some companies are selling this now to get around gbl exports to the USA

EDIT----TO ADD PLS

GCL is a poor GBL substitute at best, i think primarily because only the trans- rotational isomer of g-hydroxycrotonic acid is active, and it's unclear in what ratio the cis- and trans- compounds are produced from metabolic hydrolysis via lactamase enzymes.

to add... trans-gamma-hydroxycrotonic acid is a decent GHB substitute. but you're better buying off the enantiopure acid vs. the lactone

A nice pleasant sedative effect soon overcame me. I turned on the stereo with some light trance music. I became completely relaxed and very happy.

At about the 1 hour point I thought to myself that with this much GHB or g-BL that I would have gone to sleep. The sedative effects of the g-Crotonolactone were stronger and deeper yet not too similar to GHB or g-BL. They felt better.

The whole experience lasted about 3 or 4 hours with the effects dropping off slowly over that time.

To retract my original statement 2 years ago..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-HCA

After some additional research I found that, although T-HCA affects the GHB receptor.. it is NOT a GHB substitute (no GABA-B agonism) and I would advise against taking it. That erowid report smells like bullshit.

Might well be dangerous, as in excitotoxic dangerous, selective GHBr agonist, so without the protective effects of GABAb agonism to reduce glutamate efflux it might well start causing seizures or blowing holes in glutmate-neuron bearing areas of the brain, such as the hippocampus, etc.

Any more human reports on this one? Sounds rather disappointing/dangerous though.
