The movie caused some theatre patrons to remain in their seats to argue the innocence of _______ and _________. This caused theatre owners to complain to the films distributor, Magnolia Pictures.

Capturing the Friedmans

I still haven't seen it tbh, but knew what it was. :)

Regarded among horror fans as the first film to come up with the popular convention of a killer calling from inside the house.

I'm gonna post a clue too, as I hate it when these threads die. :\

Clue: this film was given the remake treatment in 2006, 32 years after the original was released.

I always look them up when I know I don't know the answer. I can safely say I've never even heard of this film (or the remake) but there are so many fans of this genre on here I'm sure someone will get it. :)

According to ****, the scenes where **** walks in front of traffic were spontaneous and genuine. **** is reported to have told her that "nobody will hit a pregnant woman."

edited after good response: "According to Mia Farrow, the scenes where Rosemary walks in front of traffic were spontaneous and genuine. Roman Polanski is reported to have told her that "nobody will hit a pregnant woman."

You can't go wrong with Polanski =D
