If it is a legitimate pill, it's going to contain 1mg Alprazolam (Xanax), which is a Benzodiazepine. It produces sedation to put it simply.
Alprazolam is the most-counterfeited Benzodiazepine out there, along with Oxycodone 30mg tablets (Perc 30's etc). The good news is that they often contain Benzodiazepines of some kind. The bad news is that counterfeit Alprazolam has been identified as containing dangerous levels of Fentanyl in all different parts of North America. If the pill is counterfeit, it's likely going to contain an illicit Benzodiazepine analog that will produce similar effects. These RC Benzodiazepines can be very strong. Benzodiazepines in general are potent by weight. This can make it difficult for dealers to properly dose each tablet. In practice, the counterfeit Alprazolam has killed a lot of people, many of whom were just looking for Alprazolam.
The 2mg Xanax Bars are the most commonly counterfeited. There have also been plenty of reports of the 1mg Footballs and such as well. If you didn't get these pills from a pharmacy, you have to assume that they're fake and go slowly until you identify how potent they truly are.

A bit off-topic, but I wonder why they call them "Perc 30's" when the strongest Percocet is 10 mg (with acetaminophen)? Correct me if I'm wrong!
