Misc Gabapentin quest?

My doc prescribed me Gabapentin (which i read that its for seizures).. which i have no idea what for? Im on anxiety meds, depression and bipolar... does anyone take this or can tell me why he would put me on this?

Probably a mood stabilizer. You should ask you doctor though, nobody here can tell you for sure why your on it. Gabapentin has many uses. .

yea but its a anticonvulsion medicine. its used for seizures, etc. so i have no idea what use its going to do for me

most mood stabilizers are also anti-convulsants.

^ Kind of a bland statement. Certain anti-convulsants can be used as mood stabilizers. There's a wide variety of medications that also double as anti-convulsives.
