Hello Bluelight. Last week I decided to experiment with combining gabapentin and piracetam, two drugs with which I am quite familiar, but have very limited experience using in combination. After researching the combination and finding that its use is almost completely undocumented, but knowing enough about the pharmacology of these two substances to be reasonably sure that it would not be harmful or contraindicated, I decided to proceed with the experiment. Here are some notes on my experiences so far.
Tuesday: 600mg Gabapentin + 800mg Piracetam
The effects of this low-dose combination were fairly subtle; I mostly just felt talkative and somewhat stimulated for the first few hours of its effects. After vaping a bowl of some good weed, I noticed some definite copotentiation between the three substances, and felt fairly buzzed and content (although only moderately intoxicated) for the rest of the night.
Thursday: 1200mg Gabapentin + 1600mg Piracetam
Didn't have any work until the evening, so I started my day with the above combination, and followed it with a bowl of headies once the effects began coming on. The combined effects were quite intoxicating and left me with a nice body high, substantial music enhancement, and much to my enjoyment, some moderate visual effects during the first couple hours. As the effects of the weed began to wear off, I became increasingly alert and lucid and by ~T+3h I was seemingly as functional and motivated as as I would have been sober, but still feeling almost as high as I had during the peak effects of the weed. I had no trouble going about the rest of my day, and still felt fairly euphoric even 6+ hours after I had dosed. Looks like I might have found a nice combination here.
Tonight: 2400mg Gabapentin + 120mg Codeine+ 1600mg Piracetam + 15mg Dextroamphetamine
I am spending tonight at a 5-hour rave and am hoping to make the most of it, so I'm adding low doses of a couple more drugs to test the extent of the synergistic potential of this combination. There are a couple other things I am taking into consideration before dosing. Having taken Gabapentin twice in the last four days, I am going to have to overcome the mild short-term tolerance that the drug produces when used this frequently. So rather than increasing my dosage by 800mg, I am going to double it, and stagger my intake of each pill by 20minute intervals. In addition I am now out of Choline for the time being, so my ability to use Piracetam effectively is going to be somewhat diminished in the next few days, but tonight I expect it should work fine. I have always found that gabapentin goes well with opiates and that Piracetam is great with amphetamines, so I'm going to do something I generally avoid by taking a mild speedball of sorts for this event. I have high expectations and will let you all know how it goes.
