I took 900mg gabapentin orally, staggering the doses by 30-minute intervals and taking 4 doses total. It has now been a little over two hours since my first dose and I am not feeling much of anything. How long does gabapentin take to work when the doses are staggered as I described? (I took them on a mostly empty stomach; I hadn't eaten for quite a few hours before ingestion. I understand eating increases the absorption of this particular chemical, but I just wasn't hungry. If I eat now, would it have any effect on the absoption, or is it too late?) Thanks.

i stagger my doses at 100mgs every 45mins with a snack. i usually take it with klonopin so that it is why it kicks ass for me :D do you have any more? take some more and waiting untill you are at the point you want to be. do you have any weed? opiates? benzos? gabapentin is shit alone imo (unlike lyrica) and is only useful at potentiating

If you are naive to this drug, 900mg might not even produce normal effects for your first time.
You do have the right method though. It's good to take a few, eat something, take more, and do it in intervals.

The first time I took it I took 900mg, waited an hour, then took another 900mg. What I experienced wasn't exactly a "high" but I felt care-free and stimulated, ready to take on the task at hand.

I would recommend taking more and see how you feel. You can't really go overboard with this drug, so I wouldn't worry about ODing or anything.

I currently take 2700-3300mg a day, as tolerance goes up staggeringly.

I recommend insufflation next time. Higher bioavailability and it'll kicks in much faster.

I've always been told gabapentin tastes terrible, plus my 300mg pills have a TON of powder in them
Doesn't sound like fun to me

It seems that the new GABA-analog drug of Pfizer PD-0200,390, or better known as Atagabalin, it's getting ready to be approved...
