Gabapentinoids Gabapentin for stimulant cravings

Has anyone else found that gabapentin actually works for stim cravings? It did for me.

I find 100mg Gabapentin plus 75mg Pregabalin to be a mild relaxant in a non-tolerant individual. I've given that combo to a number of people telling them that. Two of them later asked me if it was speed. FWIW

I've never been one for stims, however I'm just as eager to find out what other people's answers are as I find it to be a wonder-drug when it comes to opioid withdrawal. Somewhat so too in the area of cravings for opioids, given that you actually want to quit.

As have I. It seems to work very well for my GAD and Depression which would be through the roof during opioid withdrawal, however when I'm using it to mitigate the symptoms each are almost non existant. Not only that but I seem to have an abundance of energy. Its not the type of energy I remember from a stimulant high however

I have also noticed it to block the effects of Diazepam. Not with Alprazolam (yum) however, nor with Zimmovane (yuck).

For the guy said “I’ve never been one for stimulants” ….I can see that …..BUT…..if I gave you Ritalin (Methylphenidate) 5-10mg IR with Oxycodone 5-10mg IR + Pregabalin 150mg + Xanax 0.5mg …..you have a very different opinion lol

Ritalin (Methylphenidate) is the safest dopaminergic stimulant available……also….one of the most pleasurable & euphoric. The only 2 drugs to ever give me true euphoria were oral Oxycodone & Methylphenidate (Ritalin) ….nearly indistinguishable. Overwhelming inner joy & warmth…..dopaminergic & mu-opioid euphoric bliss …the part of the brain responsible for pleasure & reward just melt with pure pleasure, comfort, content, euphoria, anxiolytic

….but ya, Gabapentin & Pregabalin could make stimulant withdrawal more manageable. Baclofen actually is listed more specific for stimulant withdrawal.

Bupropion (Wellbutrin) 150mg XR would be good for stimulant withdrawal……with Gabapentin 300mg capsules together would be best
