Benzos gabanergics & phenibut

is it alright to take phenibut and benzos (in my case ezitolam) within a day of each other? also wondering about the cross-tolerance with phenibut and benzos. to my knowledge phen works on the gaba-b receptor, so would that prevent cross tolerance? just don't wanna over do it. thank ya.
 
In theory because Phenibut binds to the GABA-B receptor and not the GABA-A receptor - Like Benzo's, Ethanol, Barbiturates, GABA Analogues, Valerenic Acid's, and certain Steroids do - cross-tolerance is almost non-existent with a GABA-B agonist when you're tolerant to GABA-A agonists, but it does still exist.

Also - Half-Life of Phenibut is only 5 hours. If you're really that worried about taking a benzo with Phenibut - it should be completely safe after approximately 5 hours.

thanks for clarifying. also, how can the half-life be 5 hours? it takes that amount of time to start noticing the effects. is it the phenibut itself and not the metabolite?
