hey
out of all the gabaergic drugs out there which causes the least brain damage? I have recently become aware that benzos seem to cause permanent cognitive damage after heavy use.
I was wondering out of all the gaba drugs out there which does this the least?
also which GABA drugs forms tolerance the most slowly ? I feel the answer could be related to this?

It's easier to say which causes the most damage, it's toluene, freon and other technical solvents. With benzos and alcohol, most of the brain damage can actually happen when you're in the withdrawal state and can't get help early enough. Not sure about GHB, which affects a different GABA receptor...

which does tolerance form most slowly with out of alcohol, benzos, soma, methaqualone does anyone know?

You'll get tolerant to any/all of them with repeated use.

Have you tried addressing why you're using?
I know tolerance will form with all. I am quite interested in harm reduction so thats why I wonder which forms tolerance most slowly.
I have addressed why I use and the positives out weight the negatives for me to use all things considered.

Does anyone have experience with methaqualone tolerance ?

Never got to try it, sorry. I would totally tell you if I did. It sounds lovely.

If I had to guess GHB is going to develop tolerance the slowest BUT the withdrawal is HELLISH, allegedly. I would not fuck around with this one for LONG periods of time.

You can easily use it 1x every day for a week, quit, no big deal.

Don't do it for like months and months on end.

Benzo tolerance forms slower than alcohol tolerance IME and from what I've seen in others. Basically you have to use benzos more than 1x/day or use them 1x/day for like... many weeks in a row before tolerance sets in. I have no probly going on for 2-3 weeks adn then abruptlyp stopping w/o issue. And my tolerance doesn't grow. It stays quite low. Just my 2c.

It might be different from person to person.

have you ever tried barbiturates/soma ?

is tolerance slow to form with them compared to benzos/alcohol?

I have not :( I really really really wish I had access to pentobarbital and secobarbital. I have SEEN secobarbital. It was not available to me though. I was quite devastated.

Let me google soma ok yes I have had that; I think you don't really grow a tolerance to it? I only took it a few times. Someone I knew ate most of them and I was quite mad but easily let it go; it is like a mundane form of alcohol. BZD's are way more fun for me. I'm not a fan of Soma. Not too recreational IMO.

Agree with this,. I have some brain damage and it's due to alcohol and benzo withdrawal.

Stick with uppers and psychedelics/empathogens/pot. Antipsychotics are helpful, as are benzodiazepines unless you like them too much and get addicted/become physically dependent. Then you are screwed.
