fumbling for meaning

i watch your face change
shades of blue and grey
unnoticed and unrealized
you watched me fumble
clumsy little girl
grabbing on to what is left
of this feeling...
clutching at the idea of sunshine
you bring to my life...
a different light than i am used to...
comforting but
cold...
occasional glimpses make me
feel as tho i am free falling...
into your orbit
sharing a view
with no words
realizations of truths
unsaid...unknown
future unsure...
past regrets
blocking movement
throwing me off balance....
