fucking belly fat mother fucking pisses me off

A lot a ppl call that a 'Bread Gut'. Cure would be stop eating bread : )

I'm tempted to agree because when I went low carb I saw fantastic results.

Now I'm experimenting again to try losing my 'Christmas Kilos' ( :X ) by exercise and 'normal' carb amounts (though I liked the results, restricting carbs the way I did got a little tiresome).

Hope it goes well :)

It's so much more complex than counting calories.

And saying what type of diet you eat.

It's about the molecules that you eat and which types are good for you. OR types of molecules.

I also do well with gluten free. 60-80 grams of carbs per day and everything else is up to my liking for the day. Plus moderate exercise.

I have no belly fat and I have a 5 month old. My partner also naturally prefers a diet good for him. He is very very active all day so he can eat more carbs. He never eats sweets. Never seen someone so nicely slim in my life.

For example, every day when he comes from work I make him chicken soup with noodles which are 10%flour and 90egg yolks. And the rest of the day he eats what he wants which is usually high fat high protein. He doesn't work out, ever.

It's not just about the fat thou. Changing your diet will literally change your life.

I have a weakness for shit food and I keep going back and forth between eating what I need and eating crap. When I eat crap I feel like crap. The difference is crazy.

Just a few tips.

- portion size meals spread out throughout the day, aim for at least 5 (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner)
- exercise, aim to do 3-4 times a week of cardio (walking, swimming, cycling etc..)
- eat better and fewer carbs, switch from white bread to wholemeal/grain bread, brown rice etc...
- have a higher intake of protein
- muscle strengthing/building - lift heavy shit, your body will burn more calories in a day simply by having more body mass/muscle

looking at your carb index is huge start , from there making a diet that will work with your schedule - gladly take a look at things, just need stats / schedule / current workout regime. Best of luck.

Aren't hey just sneaky little bastards those : )
Did the same thing here, a couple a k's spread over the entire bod like a (not so)thin blanket of unwanted fat! and it looks like they intend to stay a while too. Haha, lucky the Christmas sales were on making it easy to go up a size ^_^

Here's one for the experts; As we age (esp. over 40) both our bone density and muscle mass decrease. So therefore to stay healthy we should actually take note of what our optimum weight was (age 21?) then aim towards a weight that reflects these natural reductions occurring in our bodies. The formula to arrive at and maintain this would also have to take into account the slow down that occurs metabolically with the ageing process. There is also a zero point with this which would have to be monitored to avoid eating disorders!
What do you think, does that make sense? Hope it's on-topic. I added it because so many ppl seem to think that it's ok to put on some weight as you get older but if you think about it like this then it's probably really bad and those extra couple of kilos are magnified when considering the three processes identified above.

Belly fat / love handles - are going to be the last to go, in women they store more fat around hips / thghs / ass due to estrogen. Men we got the ol gut deal.

It ALL boils to diet.

I really do mean no harm mentioning steroids as I would never recommend anyone who isn't using them for a sport (bodybuilding / powerliting / football / boxing etc) - pls do take this with anythin I say. I'm weeks away from my personal training license I used to be a fat kid, weight, lost over 160lbs naturally... it's doable just stick with a solid diet regime (i'd suggest going keto but for some people the fact it mimics starvation does a number on their head).

Belly fat problem :(

im curious as to what supplements (OTC) i could purchase that would help get rid of that last stubborn bit of belly fat. ive done a shitton of research but everthing seems so shady. please dont tell me that you cant use a supplement to get rid of belly fat, because excersize isnt doing it for me.

I just want some legit non-shady info,
thanks BLers!<3 your always so helpful,

I remember reading in a few places the following: what your body looks like is about 85% diet and 15% exercise.

Here's a link that sums up just how much you need to do to reduce your body fat by even one pound.

Hope this helps at least a little bit. As mammals, we don't *need* supplements to lose weight. What we eat, how much, and the amount of exercise is a good indicator of how much our body fat is.

However, the supplements you are taking have been shown to lower body fat *when combined with* diet and exercise. The quick fix never works in the long run.

Stubborn belly fat.

So I'm shot over weight at the moment 90kg an 182cm tall but whenever I highly the gym hard and get down around 85kg most of my body looks normal weight but I can't seem to lose the tummy fat. I think my father was the same in his youth. Is it looks down to genetics or is the other factors that comes into play. My weight fluctuates very rapidly, I lost 3kg in the last week. I would also consider myself a very stressed person.

Cheers

I've combined the three 'belly fat' threads in here... use the search button next time you want to make a belly-fat thread.

Tommy: You have to take it slow. Learn how your body works and what works for the body you have. Your weight may fluctuate rapidly, but do not expect any quick loses. On average, the body can fluctuate up to 5 pounds (2.27 kg) in one day in either direction.

If you wish to lose weight, it's the commitment that counts. Also, try to enjoy a change lifestyle; that's what will keep you going strong and becoming leaner.

IME the belly fat all comes down to diet, so follow the ideas laid out here and you should be ok, but belly fat is still tough to get off. that's what I've been working on for the past month or two and I just cant shake it (lol actually it shakes quite well but you know what I mean)

Are you seeing this looking down or in the mirror cause when you look down it looks worse. Kind like the exact opposite of dick size hahaha (Although your dick definitely shrinks in cold water but your gut stays the same!) : D

how come its strictly males with huge belly problems ? i mean women might get some belly too but with them all the fat usually goes in the ass or hips or w/e. if u ask me, thats kind of hot and not as disgusting as males have it :|

It's called haunch and paunch. Women store fat in their haunches and men in the paunches, lol.

Somehow we evolved that way.

Endurance cardio will increase your cortisol which could be a contributing factor in your stomach fat. Either perform sprints, HIIT or weight training.

Avoiding fat in your diet will not help remove stomach fat and could do the opposite. Avoid inflammation creating fats, increase healthy fats.

Just metabolize less than you consume or consume more than you metabolize. It will eventually get that way out of blocking your view to your own dick.

There are plenty ways to get less food to be metabolzed into you and safest one should be methylphenidate and it also helps you to reduce the amount you eat so it is a win-win situation. Also there is actually no exact way in exercising to get rid of your fat in specified part of body except warming up the place you want the fat to be gone and cooling others at the same time. Basically whatever exercise you do it gets fat out first fom the places that have the fat that is most easily available in regards to the type of fat, the veins around it and how hot the place is. That is because our veins distribute the energy to the muscles you are exercising quite effectively from all around the body except from brains.

I'm a woman and my stomach is getting huge. Looking pregnant huge!
This is awful and I'm starting to think that something's wrong with me
:(

Are you sure you are not pregnant?

Go see your Dr. as sudden appearance of fat tissue on your belly or waists my be a sign of some health problems. Get your thyroid checked atleast.

Also waist obesity causes finally diabetes. Perioid.
