man someone help me with ideas to get rid of the belly fat i gained in the past when i had tons of beer.
im running, doing sit ups push ups w/e the fuck else that u need to lose weight, yet im skinny except the huge belly fat sticking out. its fucking bizarre if u ask me
anyone ever managed to lose a high percent of their belly fat EVER ??? plz help me with something :(

You can't spot-reduce fat (target fat in a particular area). If you have more fat on your belly than elsewhere you probably just have genetics to blame. You're best bet is to just stay in a calorie deficit, keep going with the endurance training, drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol, processed high carb foods (white bread, pasta, rice), etc.

For your core muscles sit ups aren't really the best exercise either... do crunches/reverse crunches, prone bridges/planks, squats and deadlifts instead :)

stress causes the body to accumulate more fat around the waist. your anger is making you fat.

you could probably just eliminate 2 or 3 unhealthy elements from your diet, eat more fruits and veggies, relax a lot more, and itl go away on its own without any work. throw regular exercise into the mix and you can shape it however you want.

pushups wont help much with that, work your way up to about 2 or 3 hundred crunches a day.

i had this problem also, however mine was due to a high intake of creatine monohydrate.

i did a 1,2,3 detox program (dont know if it really helped) to flush out my excess water weight, stopped the creatine, ate very carby meals avoiding as much fat as possible, foccussed mainly on cardio based work aiming for a minimum of 300calories with light core excercises.

as mentioned above, sit ups arent ur best option as they will stress ur neck and vertabraes, i personally find, planks/hovers and russian chair lifts to be most effective on my core stregnth

learn some kettlebell exercises, or just squat(properly) heavy shit all day. You work hard at it, you'll get results.

doing situps of crunches isn't going to do anything for your stomach fat. you need to reduce overall bodyfat to see any results. that means clean up your diet, continue doing cardio exercise, but focus mostly on lifting (specifically compound exercises: squats, deadlifts + pullups, pushups, and dips). Your body will be more symmetrical if you add muscle and lose fat.

i'm a pretty lazy guy but i can always shave fat around my middle quick when i need to. i've spent a fair lot of time fine-tuning my meals for optimizing my metabolism. the most fundamental thing, and everyone knows this but often overlooks it, is raising your HDL (high density lipoprotein AKA good cholesterol) intake.

it's good to remember that carbs are converted to glucose the quickest (ethanol also) which creates instant fuel for the body BUT if you aren't burning consuming every bit of that within a couple of hours (i forget exactly how much) it becomes stored as fat.

HDL, on the other hand, is a lot more difficult for the body to turn into a fuel therefore it boosts your metabolism as a means to extract energy from the fats and this makes it easier for the body to turn to ketosis and cannibalize the stored fat as fuel when it really needs that extra bit. this is obviously where doing enough cardio to sweat your ass off is gonna help.

aside from that eat lots of fibrous shit and fruit sugar is excellent nutrition. basically, eat as few carbs as you can. to get an idea, my typical breakfast consists of one egg covered in cayenne (HDL and metabolism booster), a slice or two of deli turkey (protein), some horseradish (1 tbsp is 3 calories lolz), half a raw onion (metabolism booster), half a slice of rye toast (carb energy), cucumber (fibre) with coconut oil (HDL) and some hummus (tastes good). only about a quarter is carbs, and the benefit is a) i get FILLED and b) the energy distribution kicks in fast (the carbs) and lasts throughout my morning (the HDL) to keep me sustained, all the while keeping fat deposits in check.

oh yeah, and after breakfast i eat 5 small meals the rest of the day. smaller meals at shorter meals also helps. i recall it was anaalien (fuck i dont know how to spell it sorry man) was mentioning in another thread how the body can only use up 40G of protein at a time? splitting the dosage of that up into lots of smaller meals (eat nuts instead of meat when you can, almonds and walnuts are the healthiest and ez to prepare and store) also helps keep the muscles nourished without burdening the body with too much at once.

The only thing that helped me was vegetarian meal
I still eat meat but very rarely, say 1 or two times per week, when i have to hurry and cannot make food for myself.

i noticeably lost weight when i began to eat a proper breakfast at home not rushing. i actually eat heaps more for brekkie than ever before, but i'm also in my best shape ever too.

kickstart your metabolism every day, and drink lots of water.

actually you are wrong. Increasing temperature of muscles will increase lipolysis in surrounding fat cells.

I would like to be motivated to find the source for you, sir. HOwever I am going to fry some potatoes and eggs and turkey bacon :\

just think how T3 burns fat (ie by increasing body temp). You increase body temp you increase lipolysis (fat burning). Now localize this effect by creating metabolic energy through muscle contraction and you have the same effect its just localized.

The study had to do with leg press and leg extension and thigh fat iirc.

I would like to echo the thoughts about how much belly fat pisses me off.

I eat very well and exercise a lot. 8 weeks ago I had a 20mm skin fold on my belly and now it is still 20mm! But my leg skin fold in almost non-existant and my pec skin fold decreased by 3mm.

The stuff is as bad as career-focused people that won't leave the office till everyone else has gone home.
