Who else despises sobriety? It can get really annoying at times and life is much better when fucked up
Who else agrees that sobriety can be awful at times

Literally nailed it. *High five*My DOC's tend to suck the feelings out of me, so I do enjoy sobriety sans the actual act of getting sober. It feels good to feel yourself again. Laugh at a simple yet funny joke and feel your natural reaction to your favorite music. If that sounds lame then you're still on your honeymoon with your DOC - enjoy it while it lasts.
Who else despises sobriety?
WTF Is sober tho. HOW DOES ANYONE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEFINE THAT FOR YOU. i'm a stubborn mofo.
Do you have any links that support that last paragraph monky? I am intrigued.
Personally I think if I had only tried weed, LSD, and DMT, I would be better off with coping with sobriety. I fear excess experimentation back in uni threw me pretty far off kilter (though perhaps volume rather than variety was to blame...)
I like being sober. What I hate are withdrawals.
I think this is a really interesting question, as new directions in research and understanding are showing us that there are endogenous levels of psychoactive chemicals flowing all the time (specifically DMT and endocannabinoids).
So if someone has a higher baseline level of DMT and endocannabinoids they're going to be less-depressed and healthier, but they're also going to have a different reality than you do, cause they're a little "fucked up" all the time (but not really, cause it is their absolute normal--any less would be deficient).
Chances are many of us have depressed endocannabinoid systems, which not only leads to higher use of cannabis but a host of other problems--basically relating to every auto-immune disorder in existence, plus touching on most conditions out there, at least peripherally. New research basically supports the hypothesis that cannabinoids are incredible immuno-modulators, and without the proper level, you will get sick (precisely what you get sick with is the roll of the dice--could be Crohn's, could be fibromyalgia, could be cancer).
