I'll be controversial here and state front-loading is not necessary if you understand the science:

The amount of test in your blood early In the cycle is irrelevant because the relationship between serum test concentration and therapeutic effect is not linear. Steroid hormones act slowly. Your better off extending your cycle two weeks........ Not that some people should be cycling at all.

Well I don't think there is a lot of controversy here. I mean when you get down to brass tacks front loading doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. Take a a simple analogy( I am going to vastly over simplify things here) Your muscles are like balloons, now say you take two identical balloons one you fill up slowly with your own power, takes a bit longer but it gets filled and stays filled longer. Now the second you use a big ass compressed air tank, fills the balloon up in seconds; but it also blows the damn thing up under pressure. Now little Timmy gets to play with his balloon that daddy filled him self all day, but his brother Tommy got to watch his balloon blow the fuck up. Which kid do you think is happier ? Sure Tommy got to see some thing blow up cool but Timmy is bouncing his balloon all over the damn house.

So I am in you camp there GF I run my cycles at 16 weeks long, moderate to low dosages, over a longer time frame. In the end as long as I keep my diet and Training in check the more of my hard fought gains I get to keep. I am very deliberate that way. Don't get me wrong there is a time and a place for hard and fast, and a nice solid end or opening with an oral is like that but, as far as front loading with mega doses of compounds I never saw the sense in it, you might blow up but just like lil Tommy that explosion only lasts a few seconds, Timmy had to wait but he gets to play all day.

I agree. Front loading is a waste of time. Injecting a greater amount isn't going to change how fast a steroid kicks in.

Yeah maybe front-loading with Oxy's or D-bol is a waste of time , but what about Anavar for 4 weeks for strength, I've been thinking of doing it next cycle

That's not exactly front loading. That's more like a kickstart. Orals are different steroids, with shorter half lives.

We're talking about starting the cycle with a bigger dose in order to get it to kick in faster. We're also saying that it doesn't work.

I frontloaded my current cycle and noticed no difference compared to not frontloading... as said, would much rather extend the cycle.

If you wanna frontload use an oral or a short acting ester.

Nolys it might but it would be so nominal, that the results would not be worth the cost of jabbing your self the extra time(s)
An oral kick start yes- adding more to your injection thinking you will get further faster with a higher dose is just well nonsense at best.

Would splitting the dose into 2 shots kick in faster because of the greater surface area covered in the muscle? Even by a fraction?

From my previous post: Lower volume injects have a larger surface area to volume ratio to begin with than larger injects, therefore injecting small volumes of gear decreases the half life of testosterone ester within your body.

Its actually greater surface area to volume ratio..

I'll try and answer the main point to the OP in due course, when I've read through some new material on the subject.. but my original statement still stands: The relationship between serum test concentration and therapeutic effect is not linear. Steroid hormones act slowly.

How would a short acting ester help front load?
What's a short ester to you and wouldn't it just destabilize your blood levels?
