Frolfers?

i've met so many groovy people in my years of playing disc golf. i started out playing tower's creek and wikanda in western wisconsin. everyone was way chill and social . . . and some quite competitive. ninth whole was our smoke hole.

glad to see everyone appreciates this as much as i do haha HELL YA theres no cops on any courses around here but there was mother fucking LINES today at a frolf course. ridiculous. tsk tsk tsk twin city stoners...

you kidding me the course i go to has cops driving their atv's around some of the time, me and a friend were making a blunt and were in the wooded area of the course and we see them drive by in their damn SUV.

Do you guys frolf on golf courses, or particular courses for frolfing?

Somebody mentioned something about a 9th hole sesh...

we use courses specifically designed for disc golf. they are similar to golf courses with tee boxes and fairways, but the basket takes the place of the cup.

cornishman, you don't need a course to play some disc golf. My friends and I usually just go to a local park and choose objects such as a tree in the distance or a certain pole you need to hit, works just as well :).

Yeaaaaaahh, i bet you guys do A LOT of LAARPing as well.

did you mean Tower Ridge? and Wakanda? my home courses!!! not any more, but I remember humping through Tower, either playing or doing maintenance. Great fucking course. Wakanda is pretty nice too.

as for th OP, not every stoner disc golfs, but practically every disc golfer tokes

and cornishman, go to pdga.com, they're a ton of courses in the UK, my dad played like 15 of them when he and mom went on their aniversary

See I would've loved larping as a kid. I mean that is we did we just didn't have rules or things to wear. I tried playing with LEGO's a couple years ago and I'm just no fun. Playing with kids is different because they get into it and it's fun, but yeah I spend most of my time doing things that are highly stimulating and still imaginative. I could spend a lot of time analyzing, probably half-correct and wholey half-assedly (?), the psychology of people who need a book of rules to interact with other people, but I'm all for people having fun. Especially people who really enjoy their fun. I had a crazy professor that would literally drift off in his own head when talking about something with this amused and slightly bemused grin on his face. He loved his subject.

Just to put this out there but I know plenty of disc golfers that do not smoke the sweet ganjika herb.

Peace,
PL

Am I the only person that looked at this thread, went "ahahaha, what a surprise, potheads talking about playing with frisbees."?

Then I remembered, I'm a pothead and I LOVE frisbees, and am definitely down for frolfing. =D

Hah, righteous, I just had the exact same experience.

But this is the first I heard of frolf... Sounds great man, even if blow at throwing a frisbee. I sure like missing, though.

And on a side note, what is it with us and coming up with names for things by sticking two words together? Damn herb.

*Edit*: And yeah, LARPing is great, but must be reserved for while under the influence of psychedelics, or at one of the festivals. mmmmm, boar.

hey guys want to go Frolfing? Everyone: YeaahH!!

Okie, lets smoke first! *ten minutes later everyone officially & legitly not moving & "couch-locked" from that indica you had!
