I recently got out of jail after serving just 60 days. It sucked mother fucking hardcore though since I had to detox off Methadone in there, 80mg. Couldn't sleep for 3 weeks, very surprised I did not attempt suicide or go absolutely insane. Yet it was probably the worst pain and panic ever.

Anyways I'm required to complete a residential for probation. I'm on 3 years formal and also Prop 36. I think I have attempted outpatient enough times to have quite a few tools to be working with to make it through inpatient. I have used scarcely in my little over 2 weeks out. Like only 3 times. And I am back on medication.

I applied to Turning Point in Santa Rose but was denied because I take medication. Fuck fuck fuck google doesnt help and ive looked for awhile now. Also Kaiser CDRP Vallejo will no longer deal with me because I failed outpatient last time.

Anyone know any FREE, inpatient places in Northern California, particulary around the Bay Area? This is becoming a quick downturn into a situation of no hope and homelessness. Fuck fuck

thank you

It is completely ridiculous that you are required to do this and you get no help at all by the court system that makes the requirement. Can you get any help at all from probation?

Not much. Probation did have me fill out 2 forms for Salvation Army in Healdsburg and in San Francisco, but that was more than a week ago. My PO doesnt answer the phone ever and Ive left a lot of voice mails. I would rather not go to Salvation Army too. I mean I dont have much choice. But they make you work 40 hours min a week with no pay in their thrift shops. I'm not sure I would be so good there seeing as my brain is still extremely sensitive and my anxiety/panic is high.

I guess I'm gonna check out Redwood Gospel Mission in Santa Rosa. I fucking hate how most inpatients are ridiculously expensive and don't offer payment plans or accept insurance, this is near impossible for anyone lower middle class.

I am really sorry that you have to navigate this broken, misguided system that purports to help people. The best you can do under the circumstances is to find any way that you can to build yourself from within while enduring the farce. Have you ever tried mindfulness techniques or CBT for addressing the anxiety? If you cannot afford any private help there is a wealth of stuff online. Mood gym is good for CBT. This looks like a good site for mindfulness but lots of others came up in my google search as well: http://www.getselfhelp.co.uk/mindfulness.htm

Ahhh tartar sauce \.

Thank you for reminding me of mindfulness and progressive relaxation, I should have practiced a lot more in the past. I enjoyed that page.

Well, um I dont think anyone else will answer so I'd say its ok to lock this but not sure if I have the proper authority to deem so.

Try these numbers in san francisco

HealthRight 360 - 415 762 3700

Walden House - 415 554-1100

Haight Ashbury Free Clinic Integrated Care Center 415 746 1940

By residential do you mean a rehab program? Are you on medi-cal? They should be able to refer you. Also try BACS (Bay Area Community Services) at 510-613-0330

Also medi-cal eligibility was greatly expanded on Jan 1st so if you weren't eligible before, you may be now.
