Stimulants Fractured glass smokes fast?

Hypothesis:
Smoking crystal w/ a fracture in the glass of the oil burner makes the dope smoke quicker than if the glass was flawless.

Does anyone know if this is a fact and can possibly explain some science behind it - true or untrue.

I understand that this is kind of a silly post.
Im also not looking for “just buy a new one” comments. They are however expected.

I mean, it would make sense that with a crack in the glass, the flame would come through, but it would be wasteful as it'd burn rather than vaporize.
