Fox to Run Teen Drug Ad During Super Bowl

The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy will launch its first major national TV ad campaign to educate parents about teen prescription drug abuse by running an ad during the Feb. 3 Super Bowl telecast on Fox.

The entire campaign will include broadcast, print and online ads, which were put together in conjunction with the Partnership for a Drug Free America and created on a pro bono basis by media agency Draftfcb.

The campaign will involve $14 million in ad spending by the government, and the media will donate another $16 million.

...and the ONDC will stamp out drug use once and for all in one triumphant moment.

oh, wait. its the same bs that hasn't worked for decades, yet our government continues to flush money down the toilet with ineffective gestures that make politicians feel all warm and fuzzy inside while doing nothing to address the the problem in an effective manner.

nothing to see here, move along citizen.

Dis is yo' brain.

Dis is yo' brain on football an' Bud Light co-mershals.

Gots any kweschins?

^^^^ Synchronicity.

I worked on the sound design for the Bud Light ads being aired during the Super Bowl this year and yes, there is some monkey business going on. :D

What a huge waste of money $14 million of government money spent on useless ads that will do nothing. That money could be much better spent on harm reduction programs such as safe injection sites and needle exchanges. That would save a few lives while retarded anti-drug ads will do nothing and anyone with a brain cell knows this.

It will be funny to watch anti-drug ads right next to beer commercials though. Alcohol my anti-drug lol.

Good thing i hate football so i don't have to watch such bullshit.
