Found wax with awesome perks but some type of residual impurities

Hi my local medical delivery service has <no prices> grams of wax, this particular specimen is a sort of brown paste that becomes more viscuous when warm. It also has some visible bubbles, which Ive been told are probably residual butane or water. Also it sparks a little in the rig.

Is there a way to dissipate this remaining impurity myself at home without the vaccum purging procedures used by wax producers? Is this wax of significant health concern (residual butane) that I should cease smoking? It tastes like decent wax and is fairly potent, it just seems a bit too gooey and a bit dark compared to most waxes Ive seen before. I also got a sore throat today but Im not sure if its from a big hit of burnt stuff I took yesterday that wrecked my lungs.

Id really like to see if I can improve this shit at home in a way that isnt too complicated.

Never seen anything with bubbles, but seen some that was too sticky/oily. i let it sit out on wax paper for a few days and air dry it and it will turn into a candle wax/earwax consistency...im not sure about the bubbles or purging further though

Thanks for chiming in Shaun G, I appreciate your input and I will be putting it out into a clean area to dry. Ive been told not to store solvent based extractions on wax paper for too long, or the extract can take on a bit of wax. I suspect this little batch still has a higher than average amount of solvent left in it.

A fairly thorough google and Bluelight search turned up nothing too useful, other than that bubbles can be indicative of residual butane, and that dark color like my wax could also indicate impurities. I think Im gonna put it out onto an open surface and run a fan over it. And swirl it every once in awhile.

Any other info or experiences would be aqppreciated thanks.

Sounds like you have some terrible product there. I would never ever buy 'wax' that looks whipped (the action of whipping the oil to purge it, which it doesn't, it just traps the butane) seeing as how there will always be butane in it, unless of course they whipped after a vacuum purge.

Maybe washing it with another cleaner evaporating chemical like acetone will get the butane out, but then again I'm no chemistry expert.

Stick with the green :)
