I smoked resin when i had nothing. It's nasty but better then nothing. But with legal weed theres no need really. Granted i live in Canada so we are lucky with this shit

I was about to say the same thing:
As a teen and well into my 20s, I always saved resin cleaned from pipes or bongs. It could be pretty potent, although the taste wasn't great. It was my back-up plan when I couldn't afford weed.
Same before we had legal weed here i saved it. But now i dont have to as i buy untaxed weed online or just regular weed at the store.

i dunno... i really don't get the same high from pipe resin at all...
if pipe resin were all the weed high was, there was no way would i be using it for my anxiety and sleep disorder... smoking resin never helps me physically, doesn't help me feel creative/trip out, and tastes like shit... i've smoked large amounts of pipe resin when going with out weed and it doesnt really do anything.
now that i think about it though, smoking a good amount of reisn from high quality weed will probably be more potent for me than weed that is about 5%thc... so maybe i take back my comment... but if someone's kid is buying resin, i think they might be in a bad place with not knowing with what they are doing with drugs... maybe ask them what they think it is... the kid could think they are using black tar heroin and smoking resin.. some high schoolers are really dumb.

Unless kids have gotten dumber i doubt they would mistake a cannabinoid for a opiate. I had already had codeine and pethidine long before i had cannabis so i knew the difference. I also had xanax before i had weed or hash.

I've been growing my own for about seven years now. I quit smoking a year ago but I bake edibles-- usually peanut butter cookies.
They are pretty righteous.

i've heard some people in high school thinking they got high on random pills like anti-depressants or something... a lot of kids don't really know what's going on from people i met. people definitely get placebo.
i remember one kid in high school sold this kid a blunt of some cheap weed with crushed up pills in it that wouldn't do anything to smoke other than be disgusting.. who knows what's going on in high school from what i saw.
Why would you have this lack of knowledge in the age of the internet? This reminds me of when i was 12 back in 94 and the net did now have erowid much less bl and i took 25 dramamine to get high thinking they where like xanax or valium. Didnt know it was a deleriant. But now you can look up anything so why be a dumb ass?

the way the pic looks to me, it looks like loose and some what sticky pipe resin. it's not really the same consistency as black tar stuff i've seen in pics..... it just looks more like resin than any other drugs or pictures of drugs i've.
i guess it kind of looks like the pic of heroin in this pic though now that i do a google search:

yeah... kids were still dumb in early 2000's with internet... i was in high school till 2004, and you'd be surprised how dumb some people are.
like look at all the people that don't test fentanyl with all the shit that's in the news... some people just don't practice harm reduction.
like in high school plenty of people would just take pills that don't really do anything that they could look up on the net aren't recreational..
even on reddit people get influenced to do some pretty stupid stuff still.
There is no excuse now wtf? We didnt have the net you guys now do.

yeah... the net makes drugs a lot safer.
i think test kits and stuff still can fail, and there's tons of pressed pills now days. there's still some risk.
what i gather from the net as a user since the early 2000's is that weed/shrooms and acid are pretty much safe. shrooms and weed don't really get laced, and acid can be told on paper if it's bitter.. i remember in the early 2000's, if a person found sugar cubes, it was often research chemicals. i realized that in school. kids would sell 5meo-amt and call it acid... it actually caused some fights.. i think some people used to like to fuck with people and sell them shit they didn't want just to cause trouble... i knew from people talking on the net though that you can't really test sugar cubes and at that point in history it was often research chemicals... i ended up reading about the RC's and just getting into those though. lol.. like with the info on the net, i think it can make some poeple that wouldn't've gotten into drugs get into them, cause it kind of appears safe... like supposedly microdosing shrooms and acid is getting more popular than drinking alcohol. i'm gonna guess that's a result of the net.
