found some prometh/with codeine from 1984

yeah i found some promethazine w/codeine (barre) from 1984, looks really old

will this be ok to take / still have any effect?

it's a light yellow/peach color almost clear....smells kind of sweet, can maybe detect a bit of alcohol smell
