I lie awake in the dark,
listening to you breathe,
Thinking of the times we've spent,
and the hardships we've endured,
We've come so far, yet know so little,
about eachothers lives, loves, losses.
Thinking back on recent days,
when days were intolerable and black,
you came along and lifted me up,
to stop me from drowning in this lie,
the lie I called life.
Because of you I am here today,
more elated than ever before, I am alive!
I hold a special place in my heart,
for you, the one who always makes me smile,
I will love you forever.........
 
I've found i have run out of little phrases to let the author know how wonderful their piece is, and this is good because this piece deserves much more, I am soo glad you have somebody in which you love so great, for he/she is very lucky to have your love also.
Your words are powerful, just from reading this, i *know* and *feel* your love for this person...and it is 'great'.
