I've been a heroin user for 12 years iv for 4 of theservice. The last 18 months I have been mixing meth into my shots daily. A problem I have is If I find a workhorse vein which hits easily I don't rotate enough. Well a few months ago I found one on my right fore arm running down the arm when. You bend your arm up and curving right before the elbow. As it started stopping to hit I found some others adjacent to it which are not visible but you hit them whenever you put the needle deep. As these start to die too they would register but it would hurt like a full miss when I pushed in. All these fake registers caused one assess which popped. Now it's fine the problem is that my forearm is now swollen and has been a few months. Thee swollen part feels like a missed shot bump but it's big like a handful l. I also have lost feeling in some parts of the area. Like completely numb but only on the surface maybe a quarter Inch deep. I stopped hiring rhe re like 6 weeks ago but it's still numb and hard. No discoloration no pain but swelling isn't going down. What can I do and is this a problem to see a doctor?I'm afraid to have issues with my healthough insurance or be forced to rehab if doc sees it.

Missed shots of meth can really hurt and take a long time to go away. There could be some nerve damage also.

See a doctor. There's a very real chance of infection and sepsis with abcesses.

Yes. Doctors have that pledge of secrecy, they may not tell out details about your drug use etc. or force you into rehab if you're not harming others or are acutely suicidal probably.. this differs a bit from country to country but in most places it's like that.. just look out for a doc who's a bit open minded and has a good reputation amongst drug users.
Good luck! (And while you probably don't want to hear that, really try to stop shooting.. get pure stuff and just do it nasally or rectal.. also meth is probably bad at vasoconstriction when IV'd, don't know..)

if you are in the states Hippa laws prevent doctors from sharing your information. It is part of the packet you fill out when you go see a new doctor.
