Okay, my opiate cycle as of lately has been blowing all my paycheck on Roxi's/Percocets/Norco/Lortabs,whatever is around really. Once I get my hands on them I just keep eating the percocets/Lortabs and snorting/banging the Roxi's till there gone...takes about a week or a little less... Then when im running low on cash I will buy a few bottles of anti shit pills and take that for a week to stave off w/d.(they don't get me high just give me energy to get up and go to work/not be sick.) But I've found once I get my Percs/Roxi's/Tabs back I CAN NOT feel them as much at all after taking Loperamide for the week..like it takes a few days or something till I get my original buzz back.. For example, say I've been using the Lope and go get some Roxi's fix up a 60mg shot..No rush(I know some people say Oxy has no rush, but w/me it does takes about 45mg for me and 60mg for a damn good one.,and no it's not just an instant feeling of an oxy high, I get a rush. I get Dillies/Morphine every once in a blue moon,so I know what a rush is.) But even with a 60mg shot I can barely even feel the damn oxy high and get no rush at all...So does lope block opiatas to some extent is my main question? Or is this just my weird body chemistry or something? And off topic but it seems Poppy Pods will raise my tolerance out the ying yang to where I can barely feel pills at all.

Sounds like it is either having a blocking effect, displacing or keeping the oxy from binding (like sub or methadone). Its definitely still active since you aren't in withdrawals.

Alternately it could be that the lope is actually acting to increase your tolerance a bit. Probably a bit of both.

Funny I keep seeing lope pop up.. i actually took like 1.5 tbsp of ground pepper along with 16mg lope.. (all that i had). Kinda wish i had more.. but thats the fiend talking

Loperamide is still an opioid, it will increase your opioid tolerance with regular use. It's not "blocking" anything, it doesn't enter the brain in enough volume to do so.

Ya,but I think if ya take 144mg of it some of it does get into the brain...I don't do this anymore reguraly cuz it seemed it was REALLY raising my tolerance, and a lil' overkill since it doesn't give me ANY euphoria. Just energy, but anyway.. sorry if I'm repeating myself, took 4mg of Xanax with my 90mg of Hydro I had throughout the day. 50mg when I whoke up this afternoon and 40mg when I got off work. Kinda wish I woulda saved those four I got after work but anyway...

I'm soon to reduce my suboxone dose to a level that could possibly be uncomfortable; I do not care about catching a buzz off loperamide, but I am considering it to alleviate my withdrawal symptoms. Is this possible bearing in mind suboxone a blocking effect?

I think you can still use loperamide to alleviate the withdrawal but you might want to take a little bit more lope than you were planning on taking if you were only going to try a very small amount. I'd do more than say, 16 or 24mg of lope if I were you. Depending on your tolerance and length of use, I would probably take at least 48mg lope and see if it helps, then go up to 96mg or 144mg if need be due to the fact that you're going to be on the bupe at the same time.

Although, now that I think about it, it's been a while since I have researched the specifics but I believe it's possible (there's a chance) that only 12mg or 16mg of lope could help your withdrawals at least somewhat. I'm referring to withdrawals as being anything other than the GI symptoms which even a small dose of lope should help quite a bit.

Give it a try, small or large dose it can't hurt and at a large enough dosage I'm sure you would have success... although at a large enough dose it would also be the same as breaking through the bupe using another opioid.
