Chances are it will work just fine, however on your next grow id recommend some better soil. Better soil = Better herb 90% of the time.
Although with cheap soil you have to watch out for things like fungus gnats
While realitively easy to control and fix, its still a pita and can get out of control. The gnats themselves dont hurt anything, but are annoying, however their larva feed on organic matter in the soil (anything from roots, to old decaying bark)
I've got a good friend on another forum using Miracle Grow's Organic choice. He contstantly post pictures of them doing great. He also just uses CFL lights and some outdoor.
You can even make your own soil realively easily, just mix peat moss, limestone, ewc,perlite. Then for when they are a bit older make another batch of the same, but add in 1/4c. of blood/bone and kelp meal for NPK, aswell as a touch of dolemite lime again, mix this soil 2-3 weeks before using, and DONT use on seedlings/small plants.
