I am diagnosed patient with Crohn's disease and I just thought id share about how oral oxycodone is ineffective thru the oral route for ppl with autoimmune disease. I always used to snort my perks and ppl used to try to tell me to eat
Them I would try this but whenever I did I felt 50 mg oral was
The equivlent to 20 mg nasal I told this to ppl they laughed and said it was in my head but recently I was reading about autoimmune disorders like crohns, colitis and celiacs causing up to 75% malabsorption due
To the scarred intestinal track so for someone like me snorting is a life saver otherwise I would have to pay rediculous $$ to eat larger dose painkillers that I have to eat due to only absorbing 20-30% of the oxy per oral dose so for me snorting is a life saver so don't always dog snorting! FOR ppl like me with scarred and fucked up intestines the mucus membrane is a savior just thought id share much love

Plug them?

Ding ding ding!! I would also think more of the drug would make it to the body and not just go mostly to your brain. Just because you aren't feeling stronger euphoria doesn't mean it's not doing it's job as a painkiller. Obviously you know your own pain though. Plugging is literally the best of both worlds if you can move past the whole "icky" part.

However, I do think the absolute best way is to switch it up because a person can even become tolerant to a specific RoA and onset. For example, in my rare but occasional oxy-binges, I normally plug it every time and am familiar with the intensity, the first alerts I feel and the speed of onset. However, plugging up to 30mg was starting to lose it's effect, so I swallowed my dose one day instead. Boom, floored.

Try plugging!

You do realize the painkilling effects are due to the drug's action on the brain right? So saying more would make it to the body and not just the brain makes no sense at all.

Only partially, and even so it would be naive of either of us to sum it up so simply. You do have opioid receptors in your gut, GI tract, and spinal cord, not just the brain. I'd be lying if I said I knew more of the technicality of these receptors and how they kill pain in comparison to each other.

I think a large part of the pain killing aspect does come from the euphoria though, literally making you simply care less about it while also physically dulling the pain too, so it's like a one-two punch. I definitely noticed this in the past with tooth pain, it barely dulls the pain at all, but I definitely care less about it.

I have a girlfriend n shit n she wouldn't leave me for anything unless she saw me shoving pills in my ass to me that's just fucking nasty not dogging anybody who does it but like I said my girl would be like wtf if she saw me shoving shit in my ass I'm straight I prefer to keep things out of my ass lol

If your girlfriend is so judgemental that she would leave you just because you don't want to fuck your nose up (and trust me your nose is something you really need) well maybe she's not the right person for you?
Also how is it nasty? It's just another fucking roa for God's sake. It's not like it makes you gay or anything. Not that there's anything wrong with being homosexual.

+1 on this.

You aren't trying to get high. You're trying to deal with a serious medical issue. If you had cancer, and she "left you because she couldn't deal with the hair loss" would you still say she's the right one for you? Dude, you gotta do what you gotta do, don't worry about other people. If she loves you, she would help you do it, not judge you for it.

Sorry, I know this is hard to hear and not what you expected by starting this thread
