A poem I wrote for a good friend's 21st birthday last year, the first piece I ever wrote - forgot about it and found it today.
As I look back on the time I had
One girl stands out from among the crowd.
She's been there through the times
I've had had both good and bad.
She's been there through the tears I've cried
Not always but she's always tried.
So to her on this extra-ordinaryday
I dedicate this to my little star;
With all the best wishes, hopes and love,
on her very special 21st birthday.
