Food Thread - I cook, I eat, I .....

Yeah I grew some dill on my window sill over winter. But not enough to meet my needs. I eat it with fish all the time.


What do you do with the dill? Just eat it straight like a garnish or something? I eat tonnes of fish and love dill but I never really know what to do with it :\

It has things up it's bung hole, but what is that thing poked into the breast?
 
That's onions and celery inside the cavity. The pop-up thermometer comes in most supermarket roasting chickens. They work well too! :)
 
Ohh I see. We did a pork roast last night, it was fantastic :)

Tonight, Leek and Potato soup.

For some reason I tried putting it with mayonaise and yoghurt. Worked a treat so now I do it all the time. Also i have started putting the left over bits on the outside of the fish while its cooking with lemon and pepper.

Apparently dill and salmon is a swedish thing, but Ive never made it properly like:

Dill is great in Tzatziki.
