Food and movement impacting dxm trip

Will food before taking dxm affect my trip? And does not moving much make you not feel it as much because It seems to happen every time I take dxm

Having a full stomach definitely has an impact. Walking is quite weird on DXM so perhaps it just feels less intense because you are not experiencing this.
