Stimulants focalin xr - not dissolved entirely into water after crushed

i crushed up some focalin xr beads with a mortar and pestle but i noticed that it did not dissolve fully even though it seemed to be powdered - there were segments that looked like they could be the casings? it still worked when plugged but not sure if i got the full dose, couldn't really plug the solids. should i have just kept going at it / is there a better way to deal w these ? are these just the casings, or do the casings have a signficant amount of drug on them? it was 20mg xr into 2mL of water, for reference, altho it was around 400mg of beads which i suspect might have made a difference - water was warm but not hot (was worried about degradation)

d-MPH is water soluble…..some of the excipients aren’t……..segregate that crap cause your Focalin HCL is in water solution.

I get 50-70mg IR and usually take orally after light fatty healthy meal….bacon, eggs, toast, OJ (which enhances absorption via oral administration….which also is relatively high)
